You may not have heard of Jurancon let alone Petit Manseng, but if you taste every new wine with an open mind, you will enjoy these. They have a purity about them that only great winemaking brings, and a uniquely tropical/floral flavour combination, some with the occasional hint of residual sugar. Great on their own, but even better with food. While the two sweet wines are stunning, my favourites are the rich dry and off-dry styles, which taste more of ripe stone and tropical fruit than of sweetness per se. These are not love/hate wines – most open minded drinkers will thoroughly enjoy them.
