This year I have also been allowed a small allocation of Sara Perez’s two other projects, both of which call for a quick introduction:
The first offshoot is called Venus La Universal - the name is tied to interpreting femininity through wine – i.e. elegant, velvety, sensual.
Then there are the two wines in the Dido range, which are a collaboration between Sara, her husband - Rene Barbier (Jr.) of Clos Mogador, and four local families who all farm organically or bio-dynamically. There is a Dido Blanco and a Dido Tinto.
