When we ship to you, every care is taken to minimise the risk of breakage and heat damage. Sadly, shipping individual cases around N.Z. in a refrigerated manner is horrendously expensive, hence we prefer to courier to you overnight whenever possible. We also prefer not to ship wines on a Friday to avoid hot freight company warehouses.

How we ship our wines
Our commitment to you is that we will always get the fruit of our producers labour to you in the freshest possible condition. To achieve this Truffle uses J F Hillebrand's climate controlled (14 deg. c) door-to-door service, which collects, warehouses, ships, and delivers them to our door here in Wellington using specially refrigerated trucks and containers. Once here, the wines go immediately into our climate controlled storage facility. As far as we know, we are one of only two importers in New Zealand who do this.
