CAUHAPE - Jurancon

Another wine for the adventurous? No, these are not THAT different. You may not have heard of Jurancon let alone Petit Manseng, but if you taste all new wines with an open mind and enjoy pure and uniquely tropical/floral flavour combinations, with the occasional bit of residual sugar, these will delight you. Great on their own, but even better with food. While the sweet wines are stunning, my favourites are the rich dry and medium dry styles, which taste more of ripe stone and tropical fruit than of sweetness per se. These are not love/hate wines – I think most open minded drinkers will thoroughly enjoy them.
