PATRICK PIUZE Chablis

Patrick Piuze is one of the rising stars in Chablis and some critics are already talking about him as the new Francois Raveneau or Vincent Dauvissat. He has relationships with many of the Grand Cru vineyard owners and even produces an excellent Petit Chablis. When you add these wines to our wonderful range from the Picqs, we now have all the colours of the Chablis rainbow covered. Due to tiny crops in 2012 and 2013, the Picqs are unable to supply me with sufficient volume to satisfy the demand, so the time was right to add another small producer to our lineup. The Piuze range spans a wide number of vineyards but we are starting with 5. Why? Offering a huge selection of a style that remains relatively unpopular in a difficult to convince market, would be fiscal suicide. For your sakes as well as mine I have limited your buying angst to just five wines this time, and we'll see how they go.
